WHAT ARE MANAGEMENT WAYS TO MOTIVATE TEAMS WORKING FROM HOME OR REMOTE?

Especially with the corona virus and quarantine process, we made an unexpected, fast transition from home or remotely. Teams working side by side up to a few months ago are now working separately. This has been a challenging process not only for employees but also for leaders. While the basic principles of managing the teams remain valid, motivating the team members who work distantly from each other does not require any special care, right?

Here are the methods you can use to motivate your home or remote team for managers:

1. Connect with your employees

First of all, your employees should feel connected to your company and strengthen their sense of belonging in order to do their best. This sense of loyalty applies not only to team members, but also to people at the manager or manager level. If the executives support and guide the entire team, they will show an exemplary way. The best way to connect with teams while working remotely is to prioritize face-to-face communication. At this point, you can have video conferences instead of phone calls, encourage each one to participate in group chats instead of sending private messages to your team members.

2. Reward team performance

Awards are a great source of motivation for employees in general. Therefore, use the reward system to add some excitement to your business. 4. Take advantage of technology

Teams working away from each other need platforms that allow them to collaborate easily, share files and chat. You can set clear guidelines on how they should use these platforms to communicate and collaborate. Since employees have their own individual work preferences, how they work and collaborate can be a source of discussion among the teams.
